Superb Large Solid Sterling Silver Coffee Pot London 1943 ~ Scrap Wt 640.0g Ttl

 

A superb quality English solid sterling silver  Coffee Pot, which has a minimalsit tapering form to the main body and a wooden lid finial and handle, and which was made by the very highly regarded silversmiths of Robert Pringle & Son in London in 1943.

The piece comes in a very good condition for age with no damages, it remains completely free from initialling, monograms or crests by way of personalisation, and it is a very substantial piece having a huge weight of over 20.5 Troy Oz.

Size :-           The Coffee Pot measures just over 8" or 204mm in height, by 7 1/2" or 192mm in length from handle to spout, and it has a massive total weight of 640.0g (20.58 Troy Oz (including handle and finial)).

Age :-             69 years old (1943).

Condition :-  Very good condition, with no personalisations, and only a few very, very light surface scratches.   Please check the additional photography for self-assessment.
