This
Antique Russian Charka or Vodka Cup measures approximately 1 5/8 inches
or 43 mm across the width or diameter of its upper rim from side to
side and it stands 1 7/8 inches or 49 mm tall to the top of its rim.
The
cup is made from solid silver in a circular shape with slightly
tapering sides, it has an externally rolled upper rim and it stands on a
raised or stepped circular base, the outer body has been engrave
decorated with four shaped panels that have alternate buildings or
flowers and foliage and the cup has Not been engraved with a previous
owners initials or family monogram all as photographed below. The
underside of the body has been impressed with a Russian 84 standard
solid silver mark along with the Kiev silversmith or makers mark of Igor
E Zavijanov, it also has the the Kiev town mark along with the Kiev
assay masters mark of Stakhy Kondratievich Orlov over the date 1895.
