ANTIQUE 19thC RUSSIAN FABERGE AGATE, 56 GOLD & SILVER PLATE COIN BOWL c.1890

 

                                          Description

Antique 19th Century Imperial Russian Faberge carved stone bowl with a silver plated commemorative medal set in a 56 (14ct) gold mount. The medal has the image of Peter the Great, while the entire piece is typical of the high standards of Carl Faberge, whose work would become synonymous with the Russian Royal Family. Hallmarked; Faberge, 56 (14ct) gold, Russian Imperial two headed eagle, dates to around 1890's.

Condition

In Good Condition - one small chip on the bowls rim.
