Fossil Ammonite: Hildoceras lusitanicum.
A great 7.1cm amateur collectors example of the Ammonite Hildoceras lusitanicum.
The
specimen has some great features including, original shell sections of
which some are preserved in golden pyrites, a well preserved keel,
visible suture lines & it's almost completely matrix free on both
sides.
Found on the Yorkshire Coast as an erratic & expertly 3D prepared.
Size of Ammonite: 7.1cm at its widest point.
Weight: 120g.
