Antique solid HM silver glasses spectacles case by Mappin and Webb, Birmingham 1919  antique solid HM silver glasses spectacles case by Mappin and Webb, B'ham 1919 An antique solid HM silver glasses spectacles case with central FMW monogram and 1920 date to the front and also having springed lid with a blue felt liner made by Mappin and Webb, Birmingham 1919. There is an overall fine linear design to the lid and base. Total weight 78.3 grams. Size Length 4.75 inches. Markings Marked to the base with Birmingham 1919 hallmark and marked with lion passant and date letter U to the lid. The base is also marked with worn Mappin and Webb makers mark and also stamped Mappin & Webb, London. Condition There is a minor shallow dent to the lid, to the right of the monogram together with some minor overall wear and markings. There are some markings and wear to the felt internal liner.
