800 CONTINETAL SILVER & HAND PAINTED ROMANTIC COMPACT
Fresh from a local estate comes
this lovely 800 continental silver ladies compact mounted with hand
painted panel. The panel depicts lovers in a romantic setting picking
flowers & a small dog. The panel is likely to be painted on Ox bone
& is signed in white. The front also has a floral grill effect which
is raised from main body. Inside there is a bevel edge mirror & a
single pad section. Stamped twice inside “800” Not sure how old this
compact is, may be early to mid 20th century. Charming item & sold without a reserve!

Good original condition - painted panel has a 2mm gap
visible at top edge/ one small dark patch on mirror -Please view images
